Dan began his career as a hotel operator and owner beginning in 1994 after pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Arizona. He went on to grow his portfolio as a franchisee of Red Brick Pizza, Holiday Inn, Ramada Inn, and Comfort Suites. He maintains General Manager Certifications from Holiday Inns, Motel 6 and Days Inns. He also is a Certified Hotel Owner, CHO, and has Certification for Hotel Industry Analytics, CHIA.
In addition to his company responsibilities, Dan is actively engaged in a number of industry organizations both locally and nationwide. He is a member and currently serves as an Ambassador and is formerly the Southwest Regional Director of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), the largest hospitality owners association in the United States and is a member of Arizona Lodging and Tourism Association’s (AZLTA) and serves on the Board of Directors.
Dan lives in Gilbert, AZ with his wife Chetna, their son Suraj, and their daughter Sonya. In his free time, Dan likes to golf and cheer on his beloved Denver Broncos.

Kyle earned a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Arizona State University with a focus in Business and Urban Planning. Over many years Kyle has been involved with the Greater Phoenix Economic Council's (GPEC) International Leadership Council. In 2016 Kyle Walker was elected to the board of directors of Invest in USA (IIUSA), the national EB-5 trade association. In this role Kyle is actively involved in the work on legislative reform and permanent reauthorization of the EB-5 program.
Kyle splits his time between company offices in Phoenix, AZ and Washington, DC. In his spare time, Kyle is an avid reader, global traveler, and snowboarder. After having flown more than a million miles over the last 8 years as a passenger, his newest endeavor has him moving into the cockpit learning how to fly planes himself.

Suraj is the Chief Legal Officer of NewGen Worldwide, LLC. He is a member of the NewGen Worldwide's senior leadership team and participates in the operational management and strategic planning of the company and its subsidiaries, in particular Green Card Fund and NewGen Advisory. NewGen Worldwide along with its family of companies is a diversified firm that engages in real estate investments and creative capital solutions, while providing advisory services to the entrepreneurial investor.
Suraj initially served as outside counsel for Green Card Fund and NewGen Worldwide from 2008-2014, thereafter joining the NewGen Worldwide family as Chief Legal Officer. Since then, Suraj has been providing leadership for the company's legal, regulatory affairs and corporate governance activities. He is responsible for corporate activities in the areas of real estate, risk management, contractual relations, and investment strategies. In addition, Suraj currently leads ups the business administration of NewGen Advisory - a full service commercial real estate brokerage firm that specializes in hospitality assets.
Prior to joining the company, Suraj was managing partner of Bhakta & Associates, PLLC where here represented a wide variety of business clients as a part of a full-service business law firm. His areas of expertise included acquisitions and sales, corporate structuring, contracts, franchise law, development and construction, equity and debt financing, and leasing.
He is a native of Ohio where he grew up in the greater Cincinnati area, graduated in 1999 from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2002.
He lives in Peoria, AZ with his wife, Neena and their two sons, Shiv and Soham.

Nick serves as the Office Manager for NewGen Worldwide and Advisory. Born and raised in Minneapolis, MN, Nick studied at Denison University and the University of Minnesota. After college, he began to branch out and spent a few years living in Los Angeles before moving to Scottsdale and then west Mesa, AZ where he currently resides.
After spending a decade within the hospitality industry working as a server/bartender and restaurant manger, Nick is applying his forward-thinking and detail-oriented skills to assist NewGen with its growth.
Nick is also an avid writer and enjoys creative experiences such as art, television, and photography. He also likes to travel with friends and family and take photos of his experiences.

Prior to Joining NewGen, Anthony completed two years of community college at Paradise Valley Community College. After leaving school, Anthony joined forces with his uncle and father to start a family business which supplied value-add marketing material for companies in the form of modified and custom wrapped die-cast model cars customized to each client’s desired car, design on the car, design of the stand on which the car sits on, and the design of the box in which the car is packaged. Through this venture, and as the Director of Operations, Anthony gained experience in Management Skills, Time Management, and an understanding of how a production-based business operates from the ground up.
In his free time, Anthony enjoys playing ice hockey which he has been competing in since he was a child. He also loves motorsports, mainly motocross and cars. A few of his favorite cars are the 1963 C2 Corvette Sting Ray, 1965 Shelby Cobra S/C, and 1971 Plymouth Hemi-Cuda.
In the future, Anthony hopes to one day own and operate a bookkeeping firm which provides small businesses with monthly or quarterly financial statements.

Ryan Bodine is an Associate for NewGen Advisory, a hospitality brokerage firm. Ryan's primary focus is on representing and identifying hospitality investment opportunities from around the country for his domestic and international partners.

Steve is the newest member of the NewGen Advisory having joined the organization in July 2020. He brings over forty years of national experience and insight of the lodging
industry to the team. This in turn will provide clients on both sides of the real estate transaction with specialized and unique perspectives.
His expertise encompasses all aspects of hotel franchising including agreements, development, branding, site selection and market analysis. His experience also includes performing numerous appraisal/valuations of existing hotel assets as well as to be built projects in conjunction with the Virginia based Hospitality Appraisals Inc.
During his highly successful career, he has been directly involved in the execution of over three hundred franchise agreements. He has held senior positions with Hilton, IHG and Choice as well has tenure with Carlson-Rezidor Hotels and Wyndham.
Steve is also a member of the Cayuga Hospitality Consultants group, one of the premier hotel consulting consortiums in the global hospitality industry. CHC provides a wide range of multi-disciplinary and geographical expertise.
He resides in suburban Phoenix in the city of Chandler with his wife Mary along with their two Samoyed dogs Sunni and Jazz. In his free time, Steve loves to play golf and his guitars.

Kishan is a graduate of W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He brings a wealth of business management knowledge from being around a hard-working family that owned a variety of businesses while growing up. This inspired him to create and manage a disc jockey (DJ) business which has given him the opportunity to work with multi-million-dollar corporate companies.
Kishan has spent his time in hotel brokerage curating new relationships and building existing client friendships. He has extensive experience in market research which sets him apart when he secures a buyer for his listings and helps his clients find the next business opportunity. His ability to build a transaction from start to finish and work closely with his clients to ensure a smooth closing is a driving factor to his clients’ and his own success.
When the world endured the pandemic in 2020, the demand for travel fell and the need for affordable housing increased. With government relief funds distributed through multiple channels, Kishan and his partners saw an opportunity to help clients sell their hotels as a conversion to an alternative use. He has been able to successfully assist non-profit organizations and investors to convert hotels to market rate apartments, affordable/transitional housing, and behavioral health.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, going to car shows, and being outdoors in Arizona’s beautiful 300+ days of sunshine.

King Jeremiah joined the NewGen Advisory team in Arizona with more than 30 years of experience in the hotel business. King brings a passion for hospitality, service, and a global perspective that is based on his work with hoteliers across the United States and more than 80 countries.
King began his career in hospitality in his home country of Grenada, in the Caribbean. During his years at Berea College in Kentucky, he coupled his studies in Business Administration & Hotel Management with practical work experience at the historic Boone Tavern Hotel. After graduating with his Master’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University, King continued in the industry as the General Manager and Sales Director for a number of hotels in Kentucky. Starting in 2000, King joined Best Western Hotels and Resorts where he held a number of key corporate positions in Consulting, Branding, Training, and Quality Assurance for over 4000 hotels.
Throughout his career, King has received a number of industry-leading designations which include Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA), Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT), and Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA). He is also actively involved in the hospitality industry and is a member of the National Association of Black Hotel Owners Operators and Developers (NABHOOD), Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), and the Latino Hotel Association (LHA).

Suraj Rama grew up within the hospitality industry giving him extensive experience in daily hotel operations. Suraj had the opportunity to gain experience with not only the transactional side of the industry, but within the legal side as well, giving him new ways to analyze assets and provide the best feedback to our clients. He spent roughly 2 years working in three InterContinental Hotels Group properties, working in independent branded properties and studied with attorneys for well-known hotel brands such as Choice Hotels, Four Seasons, and Hilton. Suraj Rama joined the NewGen Advisory team in 2017 as a Jr. Analyst and become an Associate Agent in 2022.

Sonya Rama joined the NewGen Advisory team in May 2022 as the Content Director. In 2019 she graduated from Chandler-Gilbert Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Arts. In 2022, she graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Criminology & Criminal Justice.
Sonya’s experience with video content creation and content writing is represented in her work with our newsletters, social media and video content initiatives, NewGen’s content calendar and blog management, and occasionally writing press releases.
On the side she makes videos for her TikTok and YouTube channel that focuses on her passion for reading and has a huge obsession with Marvel and book collecting. Her favorite video games are The Legend of Zelda, and OMORI.

Nycole trains and manages the team of Real Estate Assistants (REAs) and assists the Marketing Director with overseeing the marketing team. She works with the REAs to provide their team of agents superior assistance with each agent's deal through the lifecycle of a deal.
Working alongside the Office Manager, Nycole assists with onboarding new agents, REAs, and additional NewGen team members throughout all other subsidiaries of NewGen Worldwide. She has developed a training library to streamline the training process with new REAs and agents.
Her goals are to improve current and develop new processes, protocols, and documents needed throughout the lifecycle of a deal to improve the transaction's lifecycle flow, the relationship between the agents and their REAs, and maximize an agent's time to allow them more time to find their sellers a buyer and build relationships with leads. This includes assisting the Office Manager and Leadership with evaluating, stress testing, and implementing new platforms to improve the REA's and agent's workflow while providing the Leadership Team the necessary data to monitor KPIs and revenue goals.
Additionally, Nycole works with the marketing team to develop the internal team and external newsletters and improve client-facing marketing presentations and digital graphics.
Nycole's vast experience in franchise operations management from startups to growing franchises and marketing knowledge makes her a valuable asset to the NewGen team.

Geovany Chavarria joined the NewGen Advisory team in June 2024 as a Real Estate Assistant. With a strong educational background, Geovany graduated from Estrella Mountain Community College in 2022 with an Associate's Degree in Arts. He furthered his education by earning a Bachelor's in Business Entrepreneurship from Grand Canyon University in 2023. Geovany brings a fresh perspective and a dedicated work ethic to the team, leveraging his academic achievements and passion for real estate to contribute effectively to NewGen Advisory's mission.
Outside of work, he enjoys staying active at the gym. He is an avid reader with a fondness for historical fiction novels, always on the lookout for his next great read. Movie nights are normal in his routine, with a diverse taste that spans from classic films to the latest blockbusters. Additionally, he has a sweet spot for Crumbl Cookie.

Josie Numedahl joined the NewGen Advisory team in July 2024 as a Real Estate Assistant (REA). Originally from Iowa, she chose to pursue her degree out of state and move to Arizona. In 2022, she graduated from Grand Cayon University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Advertising.
Josie started her professional career as a Recruiter within the finance and accounting sector. She is excited to bring her background and skills to make an impact in a new role/industry.
Outside of work she enjoys reading, hiking, trying local coffee shops, and spending time with friends.
