Jigar Desai joined NewGen Advisory in 2017 and focuses on hotel and lodging transactions across the continental United States. Known for his ability to bridge the gap between buyers and sellers, Jigar brings a balanced understanding of each party’s financial priorities to every deal.

Jigar’s edge comes from a career built inside the industry. Having grown up in the hotel business, he understands the operational demands of ownership firsthand — an insight that translates directly into more effective representation for his clients. Before joining NewGen, he also spent time in lending at a large national bank, giving him a working knowledge of the financing landscape that helps clients navigate even the most complex asset situations.

Jigar holds a dual degree in Finance and Real Estate from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona (2011). He is a member and Ambassador of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) and holds certifications with Choice Hotels and Best Western.
