Dan began his career as a hotel operator and owner beginning in 1994 after pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Arizona. He went on to grow his portfolio as a franchisee of Red Brick Pizza, Holiday Inn, Ramada Inn, and Comfort Suites. He maintains General Manager Certifications from Holiday Inns, Motel 6 and Days Inns. He also is a Certified Hotel Owner, CHO, and has Certification for Hotel Industry Analytics, CHIA.

In addition to his company responsibilities, Dan is actively engaged in a number of industry organizations both locally and nationwide. He is a member and currently serves as an Ambassador and is formerly the Southwest Regional Director of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), the largest hospitality owners association in the United States and is a member of Arizona Lodging and Tourism Association’s (AZLTA) and serves on the Board of Directors.

Dan lives in Gilbert, AZ with his wife Chetna, their son Suraj, and their daughter Sonya. In his free time, Dan likes to golf and cheer on his beloved Denver Broncos.

Kyle’s understanding and creative financial approach aid NewGen Advisory clients in finding and securing profitable business opportunities.

Kyle earned a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Arizona State University with a focus in Business and Urban Planning. Over many years Kyle has been involved with the Greater Phoenix Economic Council’s (GPEC) International Leadership Council. In 2016 Kyle Walker was elected to the board of directors of Invest in USA (IIUSA), the national EB-5 trade association. In this role Kyle is actively involved in the work on legislative reform and permanent reauthorization of the EB-5 program.

Kyle splits his time between company offices in Phoenix, AZ and Washington, DC. In his spare time, Kyle is an avid reader, global traveler, and snowboarder. After having flown more than a million miles over the last 8 years as a passenger, his newest endeavor has him moving into the cockpit learning how to fly planes himself.

Suraj is the Chief Legal Officer of NewGen Worldwide, LLC. He is a member of the NewGen Worldwide’s senior leadership team and participates in the operational management and strategic planning of the company and its subsidiaries, in particular Green Card Fund and NewGen Advisory. NewGen Worldwide along with its family of companies is a diversified firm that engages in real estate investments and creative capital solutions, while providing advisory services to the entrepreneurial investor.

Suraj initially served as outside counsel for Green Card Fund and NewGen Worldwide from 2008-2014, thereafter joining the NewGen Worldwide family as Chief Legal Officer. Since then, Suraj has been providing leadership for the company’s legal, regulatory affairs and corporate governance activities. He is responsible for corporate activities in the areas of real estate, risk management, contractual relations, and investment strategies. In addition, Suraj currently leads ups the business administration of NewGen Advisory – a full service commercial real estate brokerage firm that specializes in hospitality assets.

Prior to joining the company, Suraj was managing partner of Bhakta & Associates, PLLC where here represented a wide variety of business clients as a part of a full-service business law firm. His areas of expertise included acquisitions and sales, corporate structuring, contracts, franchise law, development and construction, equity and debt financing, and leasing.

He is a native of Ohio where he grew up in the greater Cincinnati area, graduated in 1999 from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2002.

He lives in Peoria, AZ with his wife, Neena and their two sons, Shiv and Soham.

Michael is the Chief Financial Officer for NewGen Worldwide, LLC and its subsidiaries Green Card Fund, LLC and NewGen Advisory, LLC. Michael and his team manage the company’s day to day accounting as well as all budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling for all NewGen operations.

Prior to joining NewGen, Michael has over 20 years of accounting, tax and operations management experience serving small to mid-sized businesses. He holds both a New York and Arizona State C.P.A. license. Having worked in both the public accounting as an Audit Manager at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and private accounting environment and owning multiple business himself, he has had the opportunity, through hands-on experience, to become proficient in a broad base of accounting and related management functions. Michael’s diverse background affords him the unique opportunity of utilizing the angles of both tax and business strategies when analyzing work product.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Arizona State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Michael, a proud of Italian, lives in Scottsdale with his wife, Patty and their three children, Alyssa, Anthony and Joey. In his spare time, Michael coaches ice hockey and loves cooking Italian food.

Ryan Bodine is an Associate for NewGen Advisory, a hospitality brokerage firm. Ryan’s primary focus is on representing and identifying hospitality investment opportunities from around the country for his domestic and international partners.

Ryan has extensive experience in owning his own company and raising foreign direct investment. This unique hybrid has allowed him to approach each deal with an ownership mentality while leveraging his extensive network of high net worth investors to realize profitable returns for his clients.

Prior to NewGen, Ryan sourced foreign direct investment for Green Card Fund, an EB-5 Invest to Immigrate Regional Center, worked as an Executive Consultant for an education reform organization, and owned an international promotional product company.

Ryan attended college at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Roehampton University in London, and finished his degree in International Business from Arizona State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

He is a member of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association, Arizona Lodging Tourism Association, Urban Land Institute, Arizona Association of Economic Development, the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations, and the Global Shapers Phoenix HUB Community.

Jigar “Jay” Desai joined the NewGen Advisory team of Arizona in 2017. He is focused throughout the Southwestern regions of Texas to California assisting our clients with all their hotel and lodging transactional needs. Jay has a unique ability to connect prospective buyers with sellers while focusing on and balancing the critical financial needs of both making him a true asset to any team and every client.

Jay’s extensive background in the hotel industry has given him the insight to better understand the critical needs of his clients. Having grown up in the hotel industry, Jay’s ability to relate and understand the rigorous demands of hotel operations has provided the insight which has led to facilitate successful transactions. Furthermore, prior to joining the NewGen team, Jay was immersed into the financing and lending world with a large national bank which gave him the unique view into the lending world and provided the connections which allow his clients to seek out financing for even the most challenging assets.

Jigar graduated from the University of Arizona in 2011 attaining a dual degree from Eller College of Management in Finance and Real Estate. Jigar is a member and ambassador for the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) and holds certifications for Choice Hotels and Best Western.

Kishan is a graduate of W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He brings a wealth of business management knowledge from being around a hard-working family that owned a variety of businesses while growing up. This inspired him to create and manage a disc jockey (DJ) business which has given him the opportunity to work with multi-million-dollar corporate companies.

Kishan has spent his time in hotel brokerage curating new relationships and building existing client friendships. He has extensive experience in market research which sets him apart when he secures a buyer for his listings and helps his clients find the next business opportunity. His ability to build a transaction from start to finish and work closely with his clients to ensure a smooth closing is a driving factor to his clients’ and his own success.

When the world endured the pandemic in 2020, the demand for travel fell and the need for affordable housing increased. With government relief funds distributed through multiple channels, Kishan and his partners saw an opportunity to help clients sell their hotels as a conversion to an alternative use. He has been able to successfully assist non-profit organizations and investors to convert hotels to market rate apartments, affordable/transitional housing, and behavioral health.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, going to car shows, and being outdoors in Arizona’s beautiful 300+ days of sunshine.

With 10+ years in the hospitality lending space, she brings a unique and strategic approach to every deal, leveraging extensive market knowledge and a network of contacts to ensure her clients achieve their goals. With a background in sales, lending and real estate Ami has a distinct perspective on the hotel industry and is committed to using her expertise to help clients navigate the complex process of buying or selling a hotel.

Whether advising a first-time buyer or a seasoned investor, she has the knowledge and resources to guide clients through every step of the transaction. Ami is a true partner in the hotel brokerage industry, understanding her clients’ priorities and bringing her market expertise, strong marketing and negotiation skills and solution focused approach to ensure clients achieve the best possible outcomes.

Ami graduated from Rutgers College with degrees in Economics and Spanish. Prior to moving to Arizona, she worked as an equities trader at JP Morgan in NYC. Alongside hospitality real estate, Ami also serves on the Board of Directors for Desert Stages Theater, is a partner in Landmark Digital Solutions and a speaker at real estate conferences. Ami lives in Scottsdale, AZ and is married with two sons.

Roshan is an associate at NewGen Advisory, a client-focused hospitality brokerage firm built on long-lasting relationships. With a background in mechanical engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Roshan brings a unique blend of technical expertise and real estate acumen to the team. 

Growing up in and around the hospitality industry, Roshan gained invaluable insights into high-level operations from an early age. This foundational experience, combined with professional roles in product development and product management across several global business lines, has equipped Roshan with a comprehensive understanding of business dynamics. 

Through these roles, Roshan developed strong financial modeling and underwriting skills across various real estate asset classes. This hands-on experience has been further enriched by personal investments in both commercial and multi-family properties. Roshan’s approach to advising clients is grounded in real-world experience, ensuring that knowledge is effectively passed forward to benefit each client’s unique needs. 

Having moved around the Southeast, Roshan eventually settled in Charlotte, NC. Witnessing Charlotte’s transformation from a small city to a national destination has provided Roshan with a deep appreciation for the region’s growth and potential. 

In Roshan’s spare time, they enjoy playing soccer, attending car meet-ups, spending time with friends and family, cooking, and being on the water. This balance of professional dedication and personal passion makes him a well-rounded and valuable asset to the NewGen Advisory team. 

King Jeremiah joined the NewGen Advisory team in Arizona with more than 30 years of experience in the hotel business. King brings a passion for hospitality, service, and a global perspective that is based on his work with hoteliers across the United States and more than 80 countries.

King began his career in hospitality in his home country of Grenada, in the Caribbean. During his years at Berea College in Kentucky, he coupled his studies in Business Administration & Hotel Management with practical work experience at the historic Boone Tavern Hotel. After graduating with his Master’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University, King continued in the industry as the General Manager and Sales Director for a number of hotels in Kentucky. Starting in 2000, King joined Best Western Hotels and Resorts where he held a number of key corporate positions in Consulting, Branding, Training, and Quality Assurance for over 4000 hotels.

Throughout his career, King has received a number of industry-leading designations which include Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA), Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT), and Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA). He is also actively involved in the hospitality industry and is a member of the National Association of Black Hotel Owners Operators and Developers (NABHOOD), Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), and the Latino Hotel Association (LHA).

King resides in Arizona with his wife and kids.

Twinkle was raised in the hospitality industry helping her family grow from independent motels to franchised hotels. As a third generational hotelier, Twinkle possesses the skills and expertise to help owner operators and investors on both sides of the transaction. She has worked in every part of the hospitality industry, from management, new construction, negotiation and legal. She can understand the important needs of a buyer and seller and facilitate a successful transaction. She has served on the Town Council in her hometown and sits on the Haywood County Tourism Development Board. Twinkle is a lifetime member of AAHOA and a North Carolina Ambassador.
